I sprained my ankle at the beginning of the year, so I have been relaxing and using my ankle in an attempt to let it heal but still exercise. I went to track and field, however it resulted in a bad ankle for the next few days- since my ankle was still healing. Since then, I have been working out at home and going on runs which have ranged from 4km-5km. One of the hardest parts when it comes to exercising, is that I tend to prioritise work over it, and this proves to be bad because if I skip a day it's a down hill road there on. In order to be able to dedicate an appropriate amount of time for work and exercise, I though it best to set some goals:
- Take part in the Rotary Marathon 10 km Race on October 14 2015.
- Run 4km 4 times a week.
- Join the badminton after school activity to incorporate other activities into my schedule.
I do realise that these goals aren't the most "SMART" goals, however, I think that I am currently at a stage where I am still getting to know where I am on the fitness spectrum and therefore have made the goals broad so they can be moulded to my needs as I go ahead.
